Our Food

All food is provided by the Centre. Our wonderful Chef Sue prepares delicious, healthy and nutritious meals on site with seasonal produce. Our low sugar menu offers children a wide variety of foods which utilises local produce and even some foods from our very own Willow Tree gardens! At every opportunity food is made from scratch with quality, healthy alternatives to fuel our children. We offer a wide variety of foods and display our menu daily by the front entrance.

We encourage children to develop healthy eating practices and practice gratitude and appreciation for their food. Our Tamariki love getting involved in food preparation with Sue and we often include food preparation and baking into our daily activities.

We work with the New Zealand Heart foundation and follow the Healthy Heart Programme, working towards our first Healthy Heart award.

We cater to all dietary requirements and food preferences.
